Timer and Customizable SMS Shortcuts for Uber and Lyft DriversSend an SMS as soon as you arrive. Know when you've reached the 5 minutes mark for UberX or Lyft. Know when you've reached the 2 minutes mark for UberPool or LyftLine.
Also if you decide to give the passenger more time than the minimum required, because you're more interested in collecting your power incentive bonus than a no-show cancellation fee, or because you've told the passenger over the phone that you would wait more time, this timer keeps on working and lets you know how much time you've been waiting in total even after that minimum has been reached.
Instructions:
Once the overlay is turned on, just move the button anywhere on your screen. Tap that button when you're ready to pick up the passenger, or send him/her an SMS. And then tap the message you want to send.
